Think! Mathematics is a new series of Singapore mathematics textbooks that are being developed for use in the United States. We are very proud to be a part of this project and to have the opportunity to work with the wonderful folks at Shing Lee publishers, and our friend and colleague, Dr. Yeap Ban Har.
The Think! Mathematics program is based on Singapore’s 3-Part lesson format; each lesson contains an Anchor Task, Guided Practice, and accompanying Independent Practice in the student workbook. The program has been meticulously aligned to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, and the sequence is both logical and developmentally appropriate.
To keep our clients and colleagues informed on the progress of this project, below are some answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we receive about the series. There is also a form to complete if you would like to receive a sample of the books. And as always, you can contact us with any questions you have.
All the best,
Bill and Amy
