Dr. Amy Tozzo

Amy has been in education for over 20 years. In the classroom Amy has worked as an elementary school teacher, a middle school special education teacher and a reading specialist. Outside the K12 classroom, Amy worked as a district level learning specialist for the learning disabled and a special education graduate school professor. She enjoyed teaching Graduate school for several years, which inspired her to work directly with teachers. Amy received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Marymount College in New York, her dual master’s degree in Special Education N-12 and Reading Specialist Certification N-12 from Manhattanville College in New York, and her doctorate in Educational Leadership from NSU. Amy lives in Connecticut with her husband Bill (Yes, the guy on the left), their two boys, Luke and Leo and their Australian Cattle dogs, Lucy Blu & Mikey.
